Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight-round contest which will be streamed in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex two time world boxing king Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami's Kaseya Center on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I will break his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to genuinely try to hurt him. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
Despite such comments, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally recognized for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, criticized UK rival Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to Briton Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the novice continues to be one of boxing's biggest financial successes, regularly earning massive paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently in the works for 2026.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul participated in the customary face-off, with their height and weight contrast clearly visible, it emphasized just how surprising this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the bout is truly proceeding.
